Supervisor Training Materials
These training materials are designed to give you real-world applicable skills, making you a better supervisor and future leader.
It will take you four hours total to complete the training. You will be paid for four hours of your time if you complete all of these trainings, including the exam. Please complete the training within two weeks of your hire date.
Sexual Harassment Training Duration: Two Hours
You must pass the sexual harassment training before taking the Supervisor Training Exam.

- Make sure you are on the “training offered” page.
- Scroll down and click on “Click Here to Complete Online Sexual Harassment Prevention Course.” Use your NetID and password to log in.

AllerTrain Training Video Duration: 8 minutes

Note: The first time you do this, the system will prompt you to create a login and it will walk you through the steps. If you aren’t automatically taken back to the course page after you create your login, use that course link again.
- Enter your code: FARESYR19
- When the price says FREE, click Enroll Now
- Watch the video.
- Once you have watched it in its entirety, go to the top of the page you are on and click on “Me.”
- Go to “My Profile.” This will redirect you to a page that has a Schoox logo on the top.
- Underneath your community profile you should see a button that says “Certificates.”
- Click on this and then click on your AllerTrain certificate. Please print or screenshot this certificate.
Completion Certificates
You MUST complete/submit both sexual harassment and AllerTrain certificates BEFORE you take the Supervisor Training examination. Once you complete the training, submit a screen shot or clear picture of your certificate via email to the following:
- If you are from a dining center, email: dcstudentcoordinator@syr.edu.
- If you are working in a café or food court, email: Deena Capria or drop a printed copy off at her office in the basement of the Goldstein Alumni and Faculty Center Restaurant.
- If you are from the Dome, email: dcstudentcoordinator@syr.edu.

Supervisor Training Exam
You may take the Supervisor Training Exam after you have completed the following:
- Sexual Harassment training and sent certificate
- Allertrain and sent certificate
- Read the Student Handbook
- Viewed both the Clery Act and PCI Compliance videos
- Viewed the Hazcom video and taken the quiz
All of this material may be on the examination, including the information that is in the Handbook. Make sure to take the time to review all pieces before taking the exam. If you do not pass with an 85% or greater you will be notified via email and you will have to retake the examination.
