Creative Constructions provide new and unique ideas for breakfast, salads, sandwiches, pitas, burgers and desserts. By using food that is provided daily in the dining centers, you can become your own cook. By combining your favorite foods and using a little help from the grill or microwave, you can have some of your favorite meals everyday.

Breakfast
- Granola and Yogurt: Grab a light or fat-free yogurt from the fridge, sprinkle with granola from the cereal line and top it off with slices of your favorite fresh fruit.
- Egg SU-Muffin: Top a whole-wheat toasted English muffin with a fried egg from the grill, a vegetarian breakfast link or turkey bacon/sausage, and one slice of cheese. Place in the microwave for 10 seconds to melt the cheese.

Sandwiches
- Greek Pita: Add 2 falafels from the hotline, cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce from the salad bar, a little feta cheese and light Italian dressing to a pita.
- Pizza Bagel: Toast a whole wheat bagel, spread pasta sauce on both halves and top each half with shredded cheese from the salad bar. Place in microwave for 45 seconds.
- Veggie Bagel Delight: Spread hummus (Don't forget to try our different types of hummus.) onto half of a whole-wheat bagel. Add lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and onions and top with the other bagel half.
- Hot Wing Chicken Sandwich: Place a grilled chicken breast, lettuce, and tomato on a whole wheat bread and top with wing sauce and 1 T. bleu cheese dressing.
- Veggie Wrap Delight: Choose a wrap of your choice, spread hummus (Don't forget to try our different types of hummus.) on it, add a variety of colorful vegetables and one slice of cheese, wrap it up.

Salads
- Chicken Caesar Salad: Start with a heaping plateful of romaine lettuce, add grilled chicken from the grill, top with a small handful of croutons, and use about 1-2 Tbs of Caesar dressing.
- Taco Salad: Start with lots of lettuce, tomatoes, onions and black olives. Add beans of your choice, and a crumbled veggie burger or hamburger from the grill. Top off with a spoonful of shredded cheese and try a little salsa as the dressing.
- Chicken and Rice Salad: Start with a bowl of brown rice and add peas, celery and corn from the salad bar. Add a sliced grilled chicken breast and garnish with Chow Mein noodles.

Burgers
- Texas Burger: Ask for a burger from the grill and top with lettuce, onions, peppers and BBQ sauce. Try on a whole-wheat roll for some added fiber.
- California Burger: Ask for a California burger from the grill, add lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles, and spread 1-2 Tbs of 1000 Island dressing on your hamburger bun.
- Mushroom Swiss Burger: Place a burger from the grill on a roll and top with mushrooms from the salad bar. Place one slice of Swiss cheese on top of the burger and microwave until cheese is melted.
- Ranch Burger: One a whole-wheat roll place 1 slice of cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion, a burger from the grill, 1 T. ranch dressing.

Desserts
- Baked Apple: Slice a fresh apple into a bowl, top with cinnamon and sugar substitute, microwave for 45 seconds-1 min and ta-da, you've got yourself a tasty and healthy dessert!
