Full-time & Part-time Employment

Syracuse University Food Services has openings for full-time positions serving students in our dining centers and student center complexes. Part-time and temporary positions are also available. General duties include: setting up counters, salad bars, soup bars, etc.; serving customers; cleaning and preparing food; loading and operating dish washing machines; clearing and cleaning tables; disposing of trash and garbage. Types of jobs available and their locations:

Catering & Goldstein Alumni & Faculty Center

These specialized services offer positions waiting on tables, serving, or bartending for various catering events on campus. For more information about these positions, contact the Goldstein Alumni and Faculty Center at (315) 443-3102.

Carrier Dome

The Carrier Dome offers such job opportunities as serving and preparing food, hosting VIP Suites, or selling SU Merchandise at Syracuse University sporting events. To find out what jobs are currently available, contact the Carrier Dome Student Office at (315) 443-4029.

Student Centers

Kimmel Food Court, Schine Dining & Goldstein Dining offer daytime, evening and late night positions. These locations are especially good for students who need flexible hours or have any kind of fast food experience. Catering shifts available for catered events within the Schine. Stop by Room 228C in the Schine to apply for positions.

Residential Dining Centers

The Dining Centers on campus offer students set schedules in a location close to their own residence hall. Talk to the Dining Center managers about open positions.

Campus Cafés, Snack Bars & Food Works

The Campus Cafés, Snack Bars and Food Works locations throughout campus offer daytime and evening positions in a smaller setting. Stop by Room 228C in the Schine to apply for positions.
